World of Reading Marvel Meet the Super Heroes! I was expecting mainly CVC words but it has words like 'soldier', 'professor', 'equality' and 'justice' which are far too hard for level 1 reading. He really enjoys reading about his favourite superheroes in stories aimed at his age group. Plus, redeem an Avengers e-book.

There are a few words on each page, mostly basic with one a bit harder but easily sounded out. This is a great set of books. Browse a comprehensive A-Z list of Marvel comic characters. My son wanted to wear a Wolverine costume on World Book Day and I was a bit hesitant because I don't classify comic books as book-books.

This set is good value for money, but I found that some of the words used ate a little advanced for a 4 year old just starting out with reading yang phonics. My son wants me to read them all each night. I’m glad I got this early because we can do shared reading and later he can read it. My son isn't able to read them yet as some of the words are quite difficult for his reading ability but we have read the books at bedtime nearly every night. Many words are difficult for new readers would say it is ideal from year 1 upwards. My son loves this. As it is 2018 when I purchased this product, I feel that more than enough time has passed to have updated the product description so it does not mislead people into thinking a ebook still comes with the included paperback books. The books are easy to read for learners.
all in all very pleased with my purchase. Explore Marvel's collection of console, online, and mobile games! I am sure as his Vocab picks up he will enjoy reading these with less help from mommy and daddy.
