A moderate trail, the Tipperary Heritage Way takes two days to complete and showcases so much of the county’s lush scenery. Along river paths, mountain ranges and forest tracks you will discover bogs, butterflies and castles, and even walk in the footsteps of Ireland’s historic figures of St. Patrick and King Henry II. Terrain for the beginning of the walk was gravel and rocks, deforestation works going on recently. Once the trail drifted into the woods it was peaceful with easy to walk on dirt trail - few muddy patches but nothing you'd lose a shoe in!
