The ceremony took place in an old ballroom with lots of natural light, original architectural details and white walls. Our rehearsal overlapped with another event, but the event staff--particularly Aubrey--made sure we felt good about the ceremony before we moved on to the dinner. I adored them!!

Was like working with family!! I love to photograph weddings of all shapes and sizes. The Ace Hotel Pittsburgh is an incredible place to get married. Our event coordinator was magical in making the ballroom exactly what we wanted, orchestrating vendors, and keeping everything to plan. It is a bit pricier for food and drink the more "traditional" venues in my opinion, but we are so happy we went with the Ace because the quality was incomparable. Dinner was great and they even had a Casey Renee cake! We had no problem staying in our budget while providing amazing options for all our guests regardless of their dietary restrictions. Inspired by the gymnasium vibes of the venue, as well as Alex’s career as a teacher, Pittsburgh wedding planner Exhale Events designed a day that was quirky and fun. For one, they were referred to me by my amazing vendor friends A&L Events, as well as my previous wedding clients, Maura & Jim , so I knew they were great people off the bat.
