Parking is available in a small lot and right… It's more family friendly than the beaches farther north. It costs 6 dollars per person for a day pass to get it.
Beautiful, wide, family friendly beach. This smallish beach, which is beach grass, has a beautiful view. Swimming pleasant only around high tide. The majority of parking spaces in this area are metered. When are beach tags required in Cape May? The B&B offers beach chairs and umbrellas for use.the beach is clean and it's not a mile walk to the beach very relaxing and people maintained a distance fine sand....covid friendly crowd......one of the finest beaches on the NJ shore.....adequate on street parking but limited handicapped spots....we felt very safe and comfortable.......some of the beaches do not have rest roomsLots of people but maintained social distancing, clean beaches.

Beach was clean and sand was soft-ish (for an East Coast Beach) sans the little sticks poking out of the sand and shells/rocks.Love the easy access to get to this beach from La Mer- where hubby and I were staying during a long weekend. Found this rental online and figured why not! When you imaging a historic seaside resort--this is it..!Cape May just wasn't what we expected. I don't know maybe I'm just spoiled from Stone Harbor. The City provides a five-minute grace period on meters before they issue tickets. The water is not even that cold witch makes it so much more relaxing. They do charge a beach fee it's cheap though don't be alarmed.Nice quiet beach on an off-season Saturday. It took us 20-30 minutes to find a spot. I biked along the beach and boardwalk. BUT, if you don't want to pay for parking or badges, then go to Sunset Beach, where you don't have to pay to park or set foot on that beach.
