I am so glad we did not base it only on reviews. Pleasant recorded music making for a very pleasant ambience. "We were in Lacey staying a couple of nights. My pasta dish should have had 3 prawns but I only got 2. Some of the very best food she has ever had including many 4 star or better restaurants in New York. We had both halibut and salmon and they were perfectly perfectly cooked and the sauces and sides were wonderful. More romantic than business but still business appropriate. This place provides top customer service in a dimly-lit, romantic setting. The service is genuinely friendly and attentive.

Wow what a surprise to find this place. All in all a great meal! Picked up for Mother's Day and everything was perfect. The only thing I would say is that the decor is quite outdated and does not seem to match the quality of the food that we experienced. Wow ! Walked by the restaurant to catch a feebas and got lured in by the smell the restaurant was putting out. If the food had been exceptional as in other fine restaurants we have visited, the price would have been more in line with the meal. Have been to this restaurant a couple of other times , time before this noticed a Salt issue as well . When they first opened the food was good but pricy. Overall we had a great experience because we were celebrating a family event, but for a $200 lunch for four I was expecting more.Well prepared dishes, fresh food, good wine list, experienced servers, interesting location on the docks.Greeted and sat immediately; waiter friendly, knowledgeable and service was quick. Quiet. Very disappointed.Twice the wrong order came to the table, first the spit I appetizer and the dessert.Best restaurant in Olympia. We went for valentines so they had a special menu.
