He lives in a small flat at Heygate Estate in Walworth, London. It's a great movie, and Caine is beyond words in terms of quality. If this film does something to again highlight the serious problem, it has been worth making.

Set in 1929 in the outback of the Northern Territory, this is the story of a young boy called Philomac, who witnesses Sam, an Aboriginal stockman kill station owner Harry Marsh in self defence. Michael Caine delivers an old fashioned beatdown to the young, murderous, drug-adled punks infesting his neighborhood. An elderly ex-serviceman and widower (Michael Caine) looks to avenge his best friend's murder by doling out his own form of justice.Harry Brown (Michael Caine) is old and weary. I lived in London for 11 years, and could identify with this storyline and especially 10 years on from this film's making, the seemingly increasing prevalence of gang culture,& the drugs, guns, & knives part of that horrible culture around that city and other very major cities in UK. Reviewed in the United Kingdom on December 19, 2018 I somehow felt that a few hours community service or a good talking to by the local constable would not have been sufficient punishmnent for them. Came upon this film by accident but it is a brilliant story. Over the years there have been various takes on it and here, for the first time to my knowledge, we have the British take on it. They are scumbags of the first order who richly deserved their fate and I am ashamed to say that when our Michael set about fulfilling this valuable service to his local community I felt an inward sense of satisfaction that he did his duty as a good citizen.
