Marketplace at Fells Point is 0.1 miles away, and Strip Center at 1704 Thames St is within a 5 minutes walk. I asked for more detailed information, including if certain floor plans were open/would be opening up and have not heard back... FOUR (business) DAYS LATER. Also Whole Foods is in a walking distance. I am just waiting out my time here and if Market Place doesn't get their act together very soon, they are going to be the failure of Fells Point!! Park Happy! As in previous, it is always difficult to move into new construction in a historic location with all the unexpected challenges and delays. As the finishing touches are being put in place and as the community members are becoming more involved in activities and opportunities offered by the management team, it's only getting better. Someone was shot across the street last week.
One of my favorite aspects of this residence is the proximity to the bakery next door so when I open my window the apartment is filled with aromas of fresh bread throughout the day!I am so, so, so disappointed in this establishment. Sometimes I wonder how they got all their paperwork together to be able to call this building LUXURY!! This community will also include retail space on the ground floor for an unprecedented level of convenience.
I have been here through at least three different neighbors above me. My water bill runs around $80 per month (probably due to the broken fountain in the courtyard being allocated to the apartment residents). They built a plywood shed to cover the entire fountain/fireplace and block the entire "courtyard view" . This place sucks.I lived here for one year and had wonderful experience! Building is just in front of the Broadway Market which is lovely place with fantastic food. The coffee machine looks great but it is just for appearances as it never is actually working (pretty sure that all they need to do is clean it but that is apparently too much effort to provide for residents paying $1800+ per month). I would be happy here for a long time. Parking at Premium P2320 costs $5 for 2 hours. This is by far the loudest apartment that I have ever lived in. Free 2 hours. But......For paper thin walls with obviously a lot of noise from the neighbors( this place is a dorm with a lot of students and you can imagine what comes with that....) Different things that are still not working after several months( they promised it would all be over in 4 weeks)...
